Sysmä bookstore - the most beautiful bookstore in Finland - offers an extensive collection of thousands of books. It contains nearly all book novelties and also many of the so called yesterday's books from fiction to dictionaries. Children and youngsters do not have to leave empty handed either, for they can find books that range from hobbies to cooking and certainly books about Sysmä.

Furthermore one can find pocketbook department, and a collection of books in foreign languages and also a broad selection of books on special offers as well as calendars for different needs.

In case of a rainy day, one can also find many activities in the bookstore. Different sorts of games, such as puzzles are well represented. For those who are interested in arts and crafts can find supplies to work with and also office supplies are available from apparatuses to ink cartridges for printers.

Up in the second floor there is a smallish exhibition space for different events, and in June 2006 "kirjakammari" is opened as a new space.

During summers, from Midsummer till mid August, the bookstore has extended opening hours, as well as in December.
